Activities and Interest Groups

Forth Valley U3A Activities

Interest groups run from September until April/May each year, coordinated by a group leader and often held in members’ homes. General meetings are held during the year, usually with a speaker. There is also a Coffee Club held most Saturday mornings in the Smith Museum and Art Gallery in Dumbarton Road, Stirling. During the summer months, activities are arranged by the Board. Information about our activities is given in the monthly Information Update for members and a quarterly Magazine.

Interest Groups

New groups are suggested and added in response to requests and availability of a group leader and venue. If you have any ideas for new groups or would like further information, please contact the interest group coordinators via the Contact Us page.

Groups that are active from September 2018 are listed below; others are being developed. For popular topics (e.g. Books, Current Affairs and Scrabble) there are several groups. Forth Valley U3A members can login to see the detailed interest group programme.
